Not necessarily — I'll ask the right questions to extract a brief from you. What helps most is sharing examples of sites you like, your logo and brand colours if you have them, and a clear description of who your target user is. I take it from there.
All designs are delivered in Figma — you get a shared link with view access (or edit access if you prefer). I organize files by page and component, and include a notes layer explaining design decisions. If you need exports (PNG, SVG, PDF), those are included too.
Two revision rounds are included at the wireframe stage and two at the high-fidelity stage. This covers the vast majority of feedback cycles. Additional rounds can be agreed at a fixed rate if needed. I find that starting with detailed wireframe feedback prevents most high-fidelity revision requests.
